Hello everyone! I'm L.C. Bella, though I go by other names as well. I like writing fantasy stories, especially about vampires.
If I ever post stories on here, know that my alternative pen names are: "The Romanian Queen," "Dragons of the West," "Lara Bella", and "L.C. Bella." I have begun posting on Inkitt (Dragons of the West - L.C. Bella as the subtitle) and on Lutionary (L.C. Bella - The Romanian Queen as the subtitle). As you can see, I have not yet come to a decision on a permanent name since I've made accounts at different points in my life.
I used to have my stories on an old Wattpad account, but I decided to start fresh since the books weren't getting any traction. Apart from that, I have some questions regarding book "exposure," given the above:
1. What if I don't want to write what others like to read?
I've been reading on here since 2013 and noticed that there are particular trends in all genres. What if the plot of my story/stories do not align with "general user interests"?
2. How can I best bring attention to my stories if I don't have social media beyond gaming and online reading apps? I do not plan to get any socials anyway, and I am not comfortable with outright posting on other people's message boards regardless of the app.
3. Is it best to update stories as I go or finish writing them first so I don't keep readers waiting? Waiting means readers may lose interest or skip the book altogether if it hasn't been updated in a while. Writing takes time, commitment, and inspiration - it isn't easy.
I may add more questions to this list as I think of more. For now, if you like, you can post your answers on my Message Board. I could use the help!

Does anyone know what's going on with the new update? It introduced new problems: I can no longer read my offline stories when my WiFi is off. All I get is a blank screen and the grey loading circle...View all Conversations
