So this weeks been a joy ride. Want to let you guys know I will be delayed in a few of my tasks as I have had a few issues arise that weren’t foreseen. Messing up my rotator cuff and having a gas leak in my home to name a few, and Ofcourse the new change in jobs. I will be working diligently through the weekend to catch up.

Hey, I was wondering if there was a way to stick to the same partners for multiple rotations in the book club. I understand if that’s not how the club operates but it would be nice to get similar eyes on multiple of my chapters. Thanks for your time :) I am really enjoying the book club so far

Hey sorry for the late notice but both @FCClements and @AnemoneMarino were interested in doing a long term pairing with me for Celestine so we can all get consistent eyes on more of our work. Idk if it’s possible for the next rotation but I’d love to do it moving forward

Hi! I’m sorry. I don’t do r4r’s anymore due to time restraints. It’s been a very busy and difficult time. If you are interested though, I’m a manager of a book club and I could help you look into being a member. It’s very similar to r4r where a group of writers reads each others works and gives comments on it weekly. If you are looking to improve and want someone to bounce ideas with, I highly recommend this group

@Mjthe112222aaaa While you did have grammar issues, it wasn't bad enough that I couldn't follow along with the story. You have great substance. The tweaks you'd need to make would greatly grow the quality of the story. Authors that are willing to accept the criticism and recognize it comes from a place of love is the best. You may be surprised to hear but plenty of people join contests then become upset with judges for judging. If you are willing and accepting, you can truly grow. I don't expect anyone to love my works. But when people give me their opinions or catch my mistakes, i appreciate it. If I ever publish, I'll be able to thank people that took their time to really help me grow. You have that same accepting and understanding so I know your work is going to grow <3

@Mjthe112222aaaa, thank you! Cause I've had some judges not read most of the book and then hound me on grammar and how I either have too much of it or none at all. I love judges like you!

Just read four chapters of Lake of Fire as an assignment in a book club.  Really well written!  The only thing that gets me is the POV—is it omniscient?  Not that it’s bad, I just was guessing because there’s a bit of jumping from one person to another mid scene. Anyway, it’s really great!  I read more than the assigned chapters!

Ah don’t even worry about it <3 it’s been very busy for all of us and I have been on an off and on. Again hiatus trying to catch up on my work. I know you’re dealing with a lot too. I’ve had to take my time and cut off other r4rs just because of the circumstances. Yours is the only one I’ve kept since I plan on finishing but please don’t worry. Life happens sometimes and it sucks but we’re all just doing our best  take whatever time you need

Hey guys. I’m still on my hiatus but will be working on a few chapters this weekend and should have some really good stuff to come back to! We had some unforeseen issues at home and are currently dealing with a burst pipe but once everything has calmed down I’ll be back and stronger than ever!
