Happy new year, everyone! I hope you all have had/are having a wonderful holiday season and a good start to the new year! :D
          
          Good news: Portraits (character + cover art shop) is open and may be getting a revamp sometime with some new art and updated prices ^-^
          
          Bad news: do you know how terrible creative block is? As both an artist and a writer, being burned out too much to do either is just. Ugh.  XD As I'm slowly recovering from that, once again, On Salt Waves is delayed. But! Only because I want to finish it offline before starting posting again so you all don't have to wait in agony for weeks. After On Salt Waves is finished, I'll be hibernating until ONC.

Inconsistent wolf update!
          Current project is due this Sunday and it's not close to done enough that I can have piece of mind so. Yes. On Salt Waves update is delayed once again. Arrrg I hate doing this, but life is not cooperating with me T^T. Deepest apologies everyone.
          
          Writing!
          - On Salt Waves is on pause for the holidays. Hopefully should be able to come back strong in the new year with all of it written. But who knows.
          - After On Salt Waves is finished, I will be taking another break to edit and draft something new/and or be back for ONC :DD
          
          Drawing!
          - Me and Deer decided to make a 5 minute animatic (closer to a comic dub but whatever) for her final project, and that has consumed my life XD Almost finished!! If you'd like to see the final product, hop over to my kingdom (Wandering Stars) in Writer's Kingdom (link below). 
          - commissions are NOT closed, but everything will be delayed until the new year.

Unfortunately due to a surprising amount of deadlines that pop up during the end of the month, I am going to have to move On Salt Waves down to biweekly updates--so the next update would be not this Thursday but the next--until the end of the book :C
          
          Would be nice if I had a backlog...*squints pointedly at future self*

Welp, I’ve got the next chapter about 40% done, so unfortunately no chapter today. Instead, have an Inconsistent Wolf Update!
          
          IRL, it’s been a bit rocky of a month with a lot of uncertainty and Firsts that’s been stressful, but I think that may be coming to an end (phew!). As of such, my creativity has taken a huge blow, so it’s been difficult to find the heart to write or draw (you know that when you sit down to write and it’s just like hitting a hard and rough cement wall? Yeah, it’s that). Not my first rodeo with this, and thankfully I know what to do, but ya’ll will have to bear with me as I slowly crawl out of this hole T^T
          
          Thank you for your patience so far, and here’s the rest of the update :)  
          
          Writing Updates!
          - Fighting creative burnout with both hands, so I’ve decided to take an official break from writing On Salt Waves until Nov 6th, give or take a day or two. This will hopefully be enough time to recuperate and gather a liiiiittle bit of backlog. Now let’s see if this plan survives the enemy *nervous tea sipping* 
          - In the meantime, little to nothing is being written sooo :C

          - I hath returned to comics, and am scribbling like mad (i.e., SO MANY CONTR Z). Unfortunately no chapter today T^T We're so close to the end and I *really* want to keep momentum and finish, but it's been hard to write lately—both finding time to and putting words on paper. Backlog's gone so ya'll are going to have to bare with me until my creative juices come back T^T
