Because most of the time the people behind fake accounts are scammers. They'd lead you to something they've established to lure you in more. This profile also has no reading lists or stories liked, nor any responses. a scammer would be interacting with us to further convince us the profile is real.
There are too many things not happening for this to be a fake account.
I think its very possible this is his real account, but if it is, I don't think he's active on it anymore. He said in 2017 (I can't remember what interview) that he stopped reading fanfiction "a bit ago".
