Writing is a great purpose; it's a dangerous weapon.

I may not have money to donate.

I may not be able to fight and defend.

I may be quite young.

I may not possess the power to affect a lot of people.

But I have the gift of writing. The gift of delivering my message through lines and paragraphs.


And I will be damned if I do not use it.





I don't have to be a Muslim to cry over what happens in Burma!

I don't have to be an arabic girl to grief the lost of innocent souls in Syria!

I don't have to be a Palestinian to mourn the absence of a loving father, who went to buy his young children a loaf of bread but never came back!

I don't have to have a dark skin to be mad and feel anger about the way ignorant people treat people just because God has given these people a beauty that ignorants have failed to appreciate and chosen to treat it as if it were a disease!





To those who suffer, whether silently or publicly, whether the media chooses to ignore their pain or not, whether I know about them or not.

My works are dedicated to you.
