LGBTQ+ Nonbinary Aspiring Author and Amateur Writer+Artist

I'll be honest, I've been on this site for quite some time but never utilized it properly. I can become easily overwhelmed by social media, but I would like to be active here and more productive with my writing as well in 2022.

Call me Carmody. I'm a 20-year-old college student with a passion for writing and art who has dabbled in writing since 2008. I have many ideas and many passions, although I often don't get so many words down on the page. However, I would like to change this and grow as a person and creator in the coming year. Obvious as it might sound, one has to actually write words if they want to call themselves a writer!

Both original fiction and fanfiction have been a major part of my life for many years. I will most likely focus on original fiction on this account, though I do have fanfiction accounts elsewhere. I focus on character-driven speculative fiction with LGBTQ and psychological themes, usually fantasy or magical realism, but I do not confine myself to a certain genre. My experience in reading has mainly been Young Adult and New Adult, and many of my writing projects would fall into these markets as well.
