I’m the author of A Sudden Sun, That Forgetful Shore, and By the Rivers of Brooklyn -- all works of historical fiction set in Newfoundland. I’ve also written several books of inspirational fiction, many of which are re-imaginings of Bible stories. These include Esther: A Story of Courage, James: The Brother of Jesus, and Lydia: A Story of Philippi. My 1991 novel about a modern-day Jesus, The Man from Lancer Avenue, has just been re-released as Kingdom of the Heart.

All my books have been traditionally published (you can find them at my website link), but I'm interested in exploring the possibilities of self-publishing for different types of work, as well as discovering new work by other writers, which brings me to Wattpad.

In the rest of my life, I’m a mom, wife, and adult-education teacher. I have the best job in the world, teaching English and social studies to adult learners at a wonderful school called The Murphy Centre.
