Hello, I'm Trudy.

I've always been a romantic and I love to imagine what it must have been like to live in times past. I took up reading again (historical fiction and American history are my favorites) around the time my third child was born. And this was after a long hiatus when I thought I was too busy to read! There's always time for a good book.

In, 2009 I discovered that I enjoy writing. After falling in love with the BBC's miniseries North and South, I devoured fan fiction  for the first time in my life. Something about the characters and the love story resonated with me. I began imagining an alternative plot that would bring the star-crossed lovers together sooner.

Eventually, I put my imaginings down on paper and found a mentor to help guide me and look over my work. Before long, I was posting my story on a BBC affiliate web forum: C19Proboards.com

I removed my two North and South stories  from Wattpad in 2025 so that I could offer them on Kindle Unlimited from time to time.

I published a new story, One London Eve, at Amazon in October of 2025. Available on Kindle Unlimited.
