It’s been a while! I tried posting an explanation of my plans, but it was too big to post so I’ll just make it short and sweet. This is mainly for myself, I don’t have a following so this is more like a reminder for me.

My girlfriend told me about a comic series she’s working on (super proud of her for what she’s come up with so far) and it has given me this sort of nudge to write something. But this time I want to do something meaningful to me. The stuff I’ve done in the past has just been crappy, over the top violent horror shorts that made no sense to anyone but me. They didn’t have meaning, they just exist. So I’ll leave them at that for now.

I can’t convey my feelings properly, so I think this will be a good way for me to do it. It’s just going to be an important event and my experiences mixed together to create a metaphorical concoction of meaningful, slightly scary, sci-fi literature. Who knows, maybe someone will read it. If you do, I hope you liked it :)

Hey there,

I just finished reading your story and absolutely loved it! I couldn’t stop imagining all the vivid scenes in my head, and it struck me that your story would totally shine as a comic. I’m a commissioned artist, and I’d be over the moon to help bring your story to life. Just picture your characters popping out with dynamic dialogue bubbles it would really captivate your audience!

No stress if it’s not your thing, but if you’re excited about the idea too, let’s chat. You can reach me on Discord at haito8359, and I can share my portfolio along with my other socials.

          Looking forward to connecting!

          Best,
          Haito

Your story, Oblitus: Her Warm Embrace, has me hooked!

@CuddlyDuckling Interesting thought. I suppose it depends whether or not you think She is an evil entity. There is one line in a chapter that does give credit to one side of your thinking, though :)

@UKDynamix Just curious: was Her message to all the people real, or everyone hears what they want to, and go to her?

My first story gathered the most popularity. I have been asked to continue it. I don’t feel as though I can, so instead, I want to shed some light on the chapter which most people have been interested in. Part One for The Tall One is out now -J

A lot of my stories lack detail, I’m aware of this. I enjoy writing these short stories, but as I prefer to keep them short, I leave some detail out. Let your imagination fill in the gaps I leave. If you think I should do an in-depth and longer story, new or in the universe I have created, let me know. Thanks. -J
