Hello from an avid reader and traditional bibliophile! All genres interest me, but what I love the most is attention to detail. Doesn't matter what detail. The way a character's eyes sparkle as the tone of the conversation changes, the way they belie what goes on in the person's mind, or how their thoughts are articulately expressed by the author. A beautiful battleground of senses, expressions and actions that detail the characters, bring them to life better than any visual representation can, is for me, the true skill of writing.
