@Vampire probably the powers. i feel like the immortality would become more and more of a curse the more time goes on-- you lose everyone you know and love to time and age, eventually. thatd probs lead to a lotta depression and withdrawing from society... powers, on the other hand, allow you to do cool shit. u dont wanna walk somewhere and risk being spotted at night? transform into a bat. you want something but someone else doesnt? compulsion. power outage? really good night vision. also, u wouldnt have to pretend to be a human during halloween, and everyone would just think its cool special effects and acting

@Vampire It depends on the person. Everyone can be gratful for something completly different, for things that are most dear to their heart.
            But if I would be a vampire, I would be thankful for immortality. To see the centuries change, see the history in making must be amazing. And to know there's still so much ahead.

@Vampire im going to write a book about all the nuances of vampires, so maybe people will finally get their facts straight

@Vampire Only one O- blood type a month. After all, living humans need their blood, too, and keeping the population healthy is in a vampire's best interest. ;)

@Vampire "It has not even been a full year since the Devil himself decided to transform me into this bloodthirsty monster. I have already been accused of witchcraft three times now! I need to learn how to control my newfound speed and reflexes. Thankfully, I have finally learned the art of Compelling people. That is the only reason I have been acquitted thus far. People have begun to notice the cats and dogs avoiding me, however. I am not sure if my Compulsion would work on animal minds. Maybe I shall simply feast on the suspicious witnesses. A dead man can spill no secrets, after all, and I would have my sustainence. I have had to resort to covering my mouth when I laugh or smile, though. My fangs are much too noticeable and offputting to many. I just wish these people had more rationality to them. So many 'mysterious deaths' could have been avoided... On second thought, though, that would mean less food for me, so maybe their stupidity is not all that horrible. Alas, I curse the Devil for making me one of his spawn. I will find a way to undo this curse. I miss the feeling of sunlight on my face. I miss my reflection. At least I am still able to attend Sunday Services. I am grateful for that. I have heard whispers from other Devilspawn that many cannot."

@Vampire Maybe something silly like - "For half a year now I have been forced to live on animal blood because of the spreading epidemic of black death. It is said that people taste like pork, but definitely not their blood. I try chickens, they don't taste any better. I feel ashamed and hope no one ever finds out how low I have sunk for a drop of blood."

@Vampire I agree with @katiegoesmew that it depends on the person. But if I would be a vampire, I would be thankful for immortality. It must be amazing to see through the centuries and see the world change. We now can only imagine the past but the vampire saw it, we can only dream about what the future will look like but the vampire will expirience it. Amazing. To not be affraid about wall will come after because you as the vampire would be the after.
