          Another random update for Let You Go is posted. I didn’t get a chance to proofread them, but that’s ok. With websites constantly scraping stories and scammers uploading copies to Amazon to sell as their own, I'm not as motivated to run drafts through Grammarly lol.

          A PUBLICSERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: there is scam going around on Discord, and so far, two of my friends have been hacked. 
          
          The scammer somehow gets ahold of the person's discord account, and begins messaging that person's contacts. The message usually starts with a "hello" or "are you there", and when you respond they reply back with, "I'm really sorry I ran into a situation on Discord where someone with a name very similar to yours tried to trick me. Unfortunately, I accidentally reported your account instead of theirs. It was a complete mistake, and I truly didn't mean for it to happen."
          
          If you receive a message like that, DO NOT engage with the conversation any further. Instead, block the user for your safety.
          
          Scammers are getting smarter and smarter. Take care everyone! ❤️
          

Random Sunday thoughts...
          
          I just learned that the woman who wrote Voicemails to Isabelle is Latina. Her mother is from Nicaragua. After watching the movie, and learning about this, I wish she would have written the leads as Latin and pushed for the lead casting to be Latin. The film has been a huge success and I can’t help but feel a tad disappointed for the missed opportunity. 
          
          And who knows, maybe she did want the leads to Latin but casting directors went in a different direction? Maybe the team behind the film didn't think it would be as marketable with Latin leads for a rom-com? Who knows.
          
          This is one of the reasons it's important for me to write latin characters, and not just side characters, but actual MAIN characters.
          
          Anyway, those are my thoughts.

@CarolAnneShaw Thanks for adding! When Harry Met Sally is one of my favorite movies. I haven't read the book The People We Meet on Vacation, but I saw the movie adaptation on Netflix and loved it. Felt like a Gen Z version of When Harry Met Sally and I was inspired :)

          Yes, I just posted 4 chapters of Let You Go. I'm still working on it and plan to finish. I'm just writing it at a slow pace, but it’s almost finished! 
          
          It was also an Ambassador Pick for round 2 of The Open Novella Contest, so that's giving me motivation to finish it.

          The round 2 qualifiers list for The Open Novella Contest is published and I made the cut. Yay! I haven't been as active this ONC season, or in general on Wattpad, but I'm still working on stories in the background and still plan to finish my entry -- hopefully in time to submit for round 3. Fingers crossed.

Hey Wattfamilia!
          
          It’s been a while and with Open Novella Contest  season in progress, I'm entering a story! This one is inspired by When Harry Met Sally and The People We Meet On Vacation. 
          
          I'm still working on a bigger project offline, but need something light and fun. This story will be shorter than usual and I'm not taking it too seriously. The point is to just write and get out of my writing doldrums.
