Writing has always been a part of me, starting as a personal journey through journaling. It helped me tap into my creativity and offered new perspectives on life. Over time, it became something more-an opportunity to craft and share stories. When I decided to start writing a book, I thought, "Why not share my imagination with others? What could go wrong?"
That's how The Veins of the City was born. From the beginning, I knew I wanted it to be a horror mystery, with a heavy focus on psychological elements. Initially, I envisioned a vampire story, but as I wrote, I realized the freedom to create something beyond labels. The story could be whatever I wanted, something uniquely mine.
Writing has since become a passion, a hobby, and a connection to my audience. Growing up, Edgar Allan Poe's haunting prose deeply inspired me, Stephen King's gripping tales, and later, the cosmic horrors of H.P. Lovecraft. Their works shaped my love for the genre and taught me the thrill of exploring the unknown.
Thank you for visiting my page and joining me on this creative journey. My name is Veronika Vincent, and I'm excited to share my imagination with you all. Cheers!
