          A birthday message to myself. 
          
          Another year older, and honestly, I don’t know how to feel. I thought I’d be happier today, or at least excited, but instead I just feel heavy. I wanted to cry. Maybe because I expected more from life, or maybe because I’m tired of pretending that I’m okay when I’m not. Time keeps moving, and I’m still trying to figure things out.
          
          Happy birthday to me—the version that kept going even when everything felt too much. I’m not where I want to be yet, and that hurts, but I’m still here, still breathing, still trying. And tomorrow, I’ll try again. That’s all I can promise myself for now.

          A year ago, my Tito (Ramil) also passed away here in Oriental (same venue as Tito Renante’s vigil), and yeah—that’s where I met her.
          
          We didn’t interact much because I was shy, but that week was long, and so many things happened. I thought it was just a simple crush—until I had the courage to stalk her account, even though that’s not me-coded 
          I didn’t even know her name, so stalking was super hard.
          
          I stalked for two straight days and went through all her relatives’ accounts but still couldn’t find her. I almost gave up until that one profile picture popped up—and turns out, it was her. TWO DAYS. For two whole days, I couldn’t find her account because her profile picture was different before. She had long hair back then, and now she has shoulder-length hair—apparently, she cut it.
          
          And a year later (now), we met again—with a freaking twist. With her parents. HAHAHAHA.
          
          As I said, I already did mano to her mom, then came her dad. I did mano again, and I was even more shocked when I saw her looking at me while hugging her mother. She’s still as clingy as before (a year ago, we were sitting beside each other during the vigil while she was hugging her mom in front). And now, she got clingy again while staring at me because she was waiting for me to finish talking to her father.
          
          DELULU lang talaga ako. Bye.

Yow guys, I have an announcement.
          
          First of all, I want to thank you all for supporting me. I deeply appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
          
          The reason I wrote this message is to announce that I might not be able to update the next chapter this week and next week. My Tito (Renante) passed away from my father’s side. We had to go home to Oriental since he was there—and yes, we are currently here now.
          
          As much as I want to update you guys, I can’t do it here because there’s barely any signal, and I also need to focus on my Tito’s vigil mass.
          
            
          Secondly—AHHHHHHHH—I saw my crush again, which is honestly one of the reasons why I wrote this HAHAHAHHA ^__^
          I don’t know, but I really don’t care anymore. I just want to let everything out HAHAHAHA.
          
          Gosh, it was such an unexpected encounter with her parents earlier since the vigil mass had just ended. And heck, I even paid my respect to both of them like, “Mano po.”
          
          Busit, I’ve been kilig since earlier because I first did mano to her mother, and she asked whose child I was among the siblings (since she knows “the brothers”). Then my Tita (Papa and Tito’s sister) said, “Kay Ruel,” which is my father—who’s not here because he’s still working in the city. Then her mom reacted, “Owww, I see. Ang laki na ah…”
          LIKE GIRL, WHAT THE HECK. Even I was shocked because her parent recognized me (well, not really). The coincidence of reconnecting after a year—with zero interactions during that year—is just wild HAHAHAHA.
