@WakeSurfer Thank you for the feedback! I really do appreciate that. If you have time, I would love it if you would go into more detail about where the characters are lacking and how to improve their devt/arc. That is something that I'm mostly unconscious/clueless of and want to address after I complete the story and can start a proper revision. However, I'm stuck in a slump right now and am struggling to write the next chapter (you still have a ways to go to get there). Maybe character devt is part of the reason I'm struggling; well, I certainly need to give my muse a kickstart! (Not that I've been inactive; I'm collaborating on another scifi story that's been taking up my time...) What tweaks would you suggest? You can reply in DM, or point them out directly in the relevant chapters; I don't mind.
@kemorgan65 Thank you for posting a good story! I have been enjoying it :) The research and anecdotal material that comes up naturally in the progress of the plot and dialog is very well done. My perception of the characters so far is that they're about 95% complete. There seems to be inconsistency in the types and levels of response expected from the earlier progress in the characters' development. I think it could be tweaked pretty easily. Most of it is excellent, but, when the story progresses or the plot twists the characters' energy doesn't always match (or grow) in sync with what has been developed beforehand. It was good to read that you've been working on evolving the story for years. It really shows. Keep it up!
