"Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" -Juvenal, Satire VI, lines 347-8

"Who watches the watchmen? Me. I watch him. Always." -Terry Pratchett, Thud!

About me... well, I'm basically a queer, introverted, curious bookworm -- they/them pronouns please -- who loves to read and is slowly getting better at writing. Terry Pratchett, Jim Butcher, Patrick Rothfuss, Michael J Sullivan, Jacqueline Carey, and Mercedes Lackey are some of my favorite authors, but I'll read just about anything if it looks good. Fantasy is my go-to genre, but I also enjoy science fiction, physics, economics, psychology, and sociology.

In the mundane world, I'm a software developer, with a special soft spot in my heart for machine learning and artificial intelligence. That doesn't leave me much time for writing, but I do my best to write a little each week. Publishing stories here will probably incentivize that more, since interested readers create self-imposed deadlines.
