WestHamBabe

Sorry been Mia this week.
          	Had surgery last Sunday for small bowel obstruction & hernia. Not been a fun week.
          	Got home Wednesday night about 11pm. Thursday was so-so, Friday during day so-so, evening HORRIBLE. Multiple bouts of diarrhea, horrible diarrhea not just loose bowels. After 4/5 bout & having taken double dose of anti-diarrhea managed to sleep through night somewhat.
          	Woke up to another bout of diarrhea, though minor. No idea how there was anything still in my body after previous night. Think someone force feed me as I slept.
          	Day progressed ok, we'll see if night is ok.
          	Long as my tummy incision doesn't bleed again & I don't get again maybe I'll start feeling better. Cause this has really messed with my being able to get around & feed me & my roommate.
          	My suggestion - DON'T EVER GET SICK OR HAVE SURGERY.
          	Hopefully I can get back into my reading the stories posted. Have missed them.

@WestHamBabe I totally getcha there, hon - the only things I wanted to do at first were just be able to sleep & pick my cats up without excruciating pain again. Like I said, it took me a week or 2 after surgery to be able to, so you'll get there eventually - just don't push yourself too hard, too fast in the meantime, 'cuz that'll be nothing but a setback for ya.

@WestHamBabe
          	  Holy shit, sugar! Glad to hear you're doing better, even if the progress SEEMS slow at first!

          	  I know the feeling, though - had to have my own first-ever surgery back in November, 'cuz I suffered a 3rd gallbladder attack so bad, I was ready to BEG my mother to just shoot me & put me outta my misery... The first 2 or 3 Days after surgery, I pretty much HAD to have a narcotic & an ice pack just to sleep & go to the bathroom - if I didn't have 'em, forget it.

          	  If you're anything like I am, it won't take long for ya to get back into the swing of things, post-op - it'll just SEEM & FEEL like it till ya do. Gods know it took only a couple weeks to be able to pick my cats up again, & they don't weigh very much - it just FELT like it was a month to me - so don't get discouraged right outta the starting gate.

@WestHamBabe That sounds. I'm glad you're doing a bit better. Take all the rest you can. I know surgery and having bowel obstruction is no joke. Safe recovery, my dear friend.

@Madamesixx thanks sweetie.
          I had hoped 2025 would be better than my 2024 was. So far not really.
          I hadn't felt great the week prior to last Sunday, but thought it was just a cold coming on due to the junky weather. Course it couldn't be that.
          Am feeling better tonight than I did this morning. So there's that.
          Can't wait for your update this month. Take care.
