Sometimes, I wish I weren't a human. If I weren't, it wouldn't pain me to know that I am always alone. And I wouldn't shed tears to find that my few friends, are slipping out of reach.

If I were a cat, I would find peace in my loneliness.
If I were a wolf, I could cry to the moon every night.
But I'm human, so I shed tears over the simplest of things

Like lost friendships, anger, and loneliness
My only escape from this eternal pain, is writing and music

Will my cries forever fall on deft ears? Or will someone come to save me from this pain?

I don't need someone to love me. I just need someone who can always be there I need them the most.

That is why, I'd rather be an animal  than live with the pain that being human brings to me.
