Have a kick ass day!
I'm a newb here. Can you help? I just updated my first chapter. Just curious, what's a good length for a part? Idk if I should keep updating that same chapter until I feel like it's time to start a new chapter or if I should just release parts as I write and fix chapters up or whatever. Any suggestions and advice are greatly appreciated. ☺️
@ WillBHeard For me, perfect length is somewhere around 1,000 words. Some people prefer little more, some less, but in the end it's up to you, how you feel comfortable! Just make sure the chapters aren't too long, so the reader doesn't get lost or bored (and they aren't too short, either, you'll have to update more, and it's less comfortable for the reader as well)! Hope this helps c:
@WillBHeard Depends on what you like, Sisters of Mercy "More" is a great track to get the blood moving... for fantasy writing, Avantasia's The Raven Child, The Scarecrow and Moonglow along with Edguy's Tears of a Mandrake and Vain Glory Opera are great.
