once im finally free i will be posting a new chapter to my dispatch story and work on something else idk

Gonna take some more time away from this

So, I deleted my old announcement, just to make a much bigger one. I am sick, so I'm taking a little break.
          
          As I take this break, I’ve been looking back at everything. My old stories, my new ones, the whole journey. And I’m going to be real with you guys: I’m not feeling it lately.
          
          I’ve been trying to write properly, using conventional formatting and trying to be a professional writer if it were a commission or project, and honestly? It’s been a chore. It feels like a job I didn't apply for. I’m depressed (I mean y'all knew that already), I’m demotivated, and based on the numbers, it looks like you guys aren't feeling it either. Barely reads, no comments, just silence.
          
          So, I’m asking for total, brutal honesty. Don’t be nice. Don’t hold back. If you’ve stopped reading my newer stuff, I want to know why.
          
          Is it the change in style?
          Do you miss the chaos?
          Has the voice changed too much?
          Is this shit just all in my head?
          
          I want to get back to writing stories I actually adore reading, the kind where I can’t believe I wrote them myself. But I need to know what you want to see changed, or if you just want the old me back.
          
          Lay it on me. I can take it. My new work isn't sitting well with me either. It doesn't make me happy.
          
          

I know I said I'd write 10 chapters for Deception Dance, but I think I'll switch to another story before the idea escapes me. Prepare for updates toooooooooo...

would anyone mind if I took a "Gat out of Hell" spin on my Dispatch story? (Heavily involving heaven and hell for another story arc.)

Once I hit 10 chapters on Misfits Aplenty, I will focus on Deception Dance until that reached around 10 or so chapters, then we'll do... something idk. I haven't thought that far ahead.

I will be posting a late-night update to my From The Ice It Returned story, where we'll see what happened after work.

Alright everybody! I'm back from my trip, I'll start working on stories again. I know I have a lot of stories to work on, but I'm choosing Deception Dance for right now and maybe some of my So Sweet So Hideous too. 
          
          I have an idea for another Dispatch story which involved a trope that I've done for another universe multiple times (wink wink nudge nudge), but I will keep that secret for right now.

I'm going on vacation until the end of the week, so writing might get delayed a bit (more than it already has), my plans when I come back are to keep working on my KPDH story, So Sweet, So Hideous. Also, I will be working on a Deception Dance chapter for tonight, and hopefully I get it done before I leave.
