Yes...You got a notification from Mark Of Darkness. No, it's not new, but a slight revision to chapter 19.
          So...I got some splaining to do...
           I know so many of you have been waiting for the next chapter of MoD. I want to give it to you so badly. This past chunk of the year has been an absolute slog. I went through a horrible downward spiral, almost lost my job, did very bad things to my health. And all the while I didn't touch my Word program. 
          
          After I got back to feeling like myself, I decided to try again, and opened up Chapter 20. And I hated it. Five paragraphs that I'd revised and picked apart before now looked like something I wouldn't read myself. So I scrapped it. And it felt great! I am now moving forward, but I had to rewrite part of 19 first.
          
          You probably didn't need to know all that, but I wanted to share. Those of you who read this, thank you.

Dude, the level of relatability this gives off is ridiculous, I totally understand where you’re coming from. But, it’s  important to do stuff like that though, it makes you a stronger writer! You’re really good and you’ll only get better!

After much inner debate and advice from friends, I've decided that Chapter 13 of Mark of Darkness will be rewritten. I've never done a rewrite before,  but I've never been so dissatisfied with my work. It was rushed, thrown together to accommodate my vacation.  That was unfair. I should never accept less than my best. So after I rewrite it, I'll be taking the chapter out and putting up the new one. To you lovely people who reviewed it, I thank you for your kind words. I'll be taking screenshots of your reviews because I always want to remember them. Here goes nothing! Wish me luck!
