Ok I'm going to make you disturbed by my Ted Talk I'm about to give you
Have you ever been bit by a Mosquito?
Most of you will say yes, the few of you that said no, go touch some grass, the few of you that said I don't know, go with the people that said no and touch some grass.
I have bitten by Mosquitoes many times. Many, many, many, times.
I am now going to tell you something interesting and disturbing.
Mosquitoes suck our blood, correct? Correct.
Our blood has our own DNA in it, correct? Correct.
The mosquitoes that suck our blood are always females, the males are doing something with the tree sap, I forget what.
What if I told you that the female mosquitoes that suck our blood, use our blood to help make their eggs.
What if I told you that mosquitoes are more human than you thought.
What if I told you that to all the people who said that yes, they have been bitten by a Mosquito, technically have children, and grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren, and many more 'greats' grandchildren.
Because the mosquito that bit you and lived, went off and layed her eggs, using your blood, your DNA, to make those eggs happen.
Those eggs hatched and the mosquitoes that came out of them survived.
This mosquitoes that came out of the eggs made with your blood and DNA, are technically your children.
You and me, cause the amount of times I have been bitten by a Mosquito and not realized until it was long gone, are off the charts, both have little mosquito children, and grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren, and many more 'greats' grandchildren.
And you didn't know it until now.
I didn't know that until I thought of this randomly.
Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk and being thoroughly disturbed about the fact that you have children, but didn't know it until now.
