Greetings, cosmic entities!

          	It has been a while.

The story thread has been quiet, but it never left me. It has just been waiting. Resting beneath the surface while my mind did what it always does. Wander. Spiral. Dig. Rest.

The next installment of Threshold of Infinity is coming, and it is a turning point. This piece takes us deeper into Ethan’s origin. Why did he see Pompeii? Why now? And who has been keeping watch over him since the beginning? This chapter will begin to answer the questions that have been quietly building since the very first scene.

But I will be honest. Getting here was not a straight path.

I fell into research. Deep research. The kind that only ends when your browser has thirty tabs open and you are zooming in on an excavation map to figure out where someone would have stood to see the mosaic in natural light. I did not just read about Pompeii. I started imagining the smell of wet plaster. The sound of workers tapping tiles into shape. What someone might have packed for lunch while building something beautiful that would outlast centuries. I fell straight into the mosaic. And somewhere inside that, the story caught hold again.

Now it is ready to return.

For those of you who have been on this journey from the beginning, thank you. For those who are just arriving, welcome. This story has always been about more than strange visions and unseen forces. It is about the experience of feeling out of sync with the world. Of sensing things others miss. Of wondering if that difference means you are broken or something else entirely.

          	The answers are coming.

And they may not be what you expect.

          	Stay tuned.

Throughout Threshold of Infinity, you’ll notice that Ethan often slips into deep moments of hyperfocus, intense sensory perception, or vivid daydreams. These are not just narrative devices—they reflect the way some neurodivergent minds, including my own, experience the world: deeply, fully, and sometimes overwhelmingly.

But as Ethan’s story unfolds, these moments begin shifting from familiar hyperfocus into something more. What starts as ordinary daydreams gradually reveals itself as something intrinsic to who—and what—he truly is. His perceptions aren’t static; they’re evolving. What once felt like a wandering mind becomes a key to understanding the larger patterns beneath reality.

If you’ve ever felt like your thoughts move differently, or that your perception doesn’t quite fit the world around you—you may find something familiar in Ethan’s journey. I hope it resonates.

Editing update:

Sorry about the repeated section in story three, The Whispering Thread. I was up WAY too late working on it and posted it before I really had time to edit. I blame my eagerness and excitement to share but I’ve cleaned it up and it flows much better. My apologies. Ten deserved better than that.

Story #3 is Live!

The next chapter in Thane Wyrldwalker is here! This time, Ethan walks into a gem and mineral shop that feels different from anywhere else—not just because of what’s inside, but because of Ren, the owner. She has a presence that subtly holds things together, making the world around her feel… aligned.

One of the biggest struggles I’ve had as a late-diagnosed autistic person is finding spaces and people that don’t disrupt me—places that feel right, where I don’t have to brace myself against the world. That’s something I wanted to explore in this story.

For Ethan, most places feel off, too loud, too chaotic, too full of energy that doesn’t match his own. But stepping into Ren’s shop is different. It’s one of those rare moments where his heightened perception doesn’t feel like an overload—it just is.

This story taps into that autistic experience of finding the right spaces and people—the ones who don’t push, don’t demand, but just exist in a way that makes breathing a little easier.

Let me know if this idea resonates with you! More behind-the-scenes posts coming soon.

Waves Unseen is Out Now!

Some changes are loud. Others move beneath the surface, unnoticed—until they can’t be ignored.

Waves Unseen is now live! This next story in the Thane Wyrldwalker series explores shifting tides—of memory, time, and the things we sense before we understand them.

If The Tether was the first step into the unknown, this is the moment when the waves start to pull.

          Read it now.
