I'm an aspiring author who is into the fantasy and sci-fi genres. I'd prefer to give a lecture on one of my books to talking about someone else's, unless we're talking character arch villain to hero. I love to focus on the chilling backstory or world building, and snappy dialogue is what I live for. I dye my hair based on what I'm writing, and have I mentioned that I own an old-fashioned typewriter? (P.S. Actually hurts your hands.) I love nothing more than to sit down for two hours with my computer for hours and look up and see I've written seven pages. My story New Space is based off a painting I saw years ago, and When the White Roses Die came to me as I banged my head on the keyboard in a fit of writer's block.
Remember, when you create a character, that character has to make mistakes that you *SURELY* wouldn't. It's the hardest part.
