Hey guys!
I just wanted to come here and ask something real quick because I’m a bit confused. Are there any recent changes or updates on Wattpad? Like, is the app going through some kind of new layout or feature update?
The reason I’m asking is because whenever I click on a story to read its description, it shows up in a completely different way than it usually does. The whole format just feels off and unfamiliar, and it kind of threw me off at first. I even thought maybe I clicked on the wrong thing or something.
At first, I assumed it might be my network acting weird or maybe just a temporary glitch, but everything else on the app seems to be working perfectly fine. It’s only this specific thing that’s acting strange.
So I just wanted to check—are you guys experiencing the same issue, or is it just me? If it’s an update, then I guess I’ll just need some time to get used to it, but if not, then I might need to figure out what’s going on with my app.
Also, a little update from my side—I’ll be posting soon! The next chapter is currently in progress, and I’m really excited for you guys to read it.

@XoStoryQueen I have the exact same problem, and it’s really complicated for me. I thought it was just because I got three months of free premium or is it happening to everyone because I really, really don’t like it and want it off

Your real emotions are what make a story powerful and relatable. Don’t rush your chapters. Take your time, come back to them, and edit again and again for a few days in row—each time you’ll notice something new to improve . Also, try reading your chapter out loud. It helps you catch awkward sentences and makes your writing flow smoother . And one more thing—don’t be too hard on yourself . Every chapter doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be yours . @XoStoryQueen not only was it not working for me, but now it's changed. Wattpad updated its software; I can't decide if I like it. Some changes are good, but others are just a "no" for me.
