Hello friends!

If you’re here for The Winter She Made or Americana, first of all…thank you for having the emotional stamina to keep up with Bucky Barnes, Katherine Zola, the Rogers twins, and all the generational trauma I apparently insist on writing for fun. Second —yes, updates are coming.

For anyone new here: hi, I’m a U.S. political journalist. Which means every time something happens in this country—and lately that’s been every 4 minutes on the dot—my job picks me up by the ankles, shakes the creativity out of me, and says “no chapters for you.” If you’ve ever wondered why I disappear mid-plot like Katherine Zola dodging her feelings…that’s why.

But! A glorious four-day weekend is approaching, and that means dedicated writing time, caffeine, and me typing like I’m being chased by Hydra itself. Both books are getting love soon.

Thank you for being patient—I adore you more than Alpine adores chaos.

P.S. If you made it all the way down here…

The Winter She Made is getting a sequel.

          	Yes. You heard me.

          	I’m insane.

          	You’re welcome.

(Try to guess the title of the sequel)

OMG I love your story "Americana" !! This is really AMAZING !
Can we get an idea of what Stella's suit look like ?

It can be really fun to read Stella performing a shox like Sabrina Carpenter, that's totally her kind.

Please, never stopt you're really good <3

Hello friends!

If you’re here for ‘The Winter She Made’… I regret to inform you (actually, I don’t regret it at all) that the “final” chapter was not, in fact, the final chapter. We are marching directly into Thunderbolts.

Now, if you’ve been around here for more than five minutes, you already know me. You know I was never going to let Kit and Bucky just get engaged, exchange a few soft kisses, and ride off into some peaceful, domestic sunset. No, no. That would be merciful. And if you’ve read literally anything I’ve written, you know mercy isn’t really my specialty.

What you will get is everything I love to put my favorite disaster duo through—chaos, heartbreak, sharp edges, and the kind of messy complications that come from trying to build something like a “normal” life after decades of trauma. You’ll get Bucky learning what it means to be loved without conditions. You’ll get Kit fighting like hell for joy, even when the world tries to snatch it away. And you’ll get both of them realizing that no matter what storm I throw at them, they’re still hopelessly, irrevocably, stupidly in love.

Because yes, there will be pain. Yes, there will be trauma (hi, have we met?). But underneath every bruise, every scar, every fight—they’re each other’s home. And that’s not changing.

So don’t pack up yet. The ride isn’t over. If anything, the fun (and by fun I mean trauma, but also kissing) is just getting started.
