I’ve contacted Wattpad support. Essentially, they’re removing any accounts that haven’t been active for years. They said it was to protect the privacy of those who left so I don’t think these followers will come back unless they reregister again. I think they’re doing this because a large amount of authors has moved away in the past couple of years and decided to delete every single inactive account as it’s probably easier to clear the system that way. They also said if you got new followers, they might not sync properly until the end of the month.
