Yeyet Soriano

My name is Yeyet Soriano.  I am a writer. I've written for most of my adult life,  but I have never, until very recently, submitted anything for publication.  You could say I write mostly to still the voices in my head.  A few years ago,  along with my childhood friends, we conceptualized  a collection of our mini books and self published it. From then on, I was hooked.  I have given my writings as gifts to friends and family, but now, I have this "yearning" to reach a wider audience and to be able to communicate with like-minded individuals. 

Honestly, it was my teenaged daughter who told me to set up a wattpad account.  She is hooked on the stories and the platform that let her enjoy almost unlimited selections.  Actually, this just might be the only way, she'd read any of my stories, so what the heck, right?

Stephen King, Clive Barker, Peter Straub, Dean Koontz, Neil Gaiman and Robert R. McCammon are among my favorite authors. I've read different series books as well -- Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia,  Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Percy Jackson, the books the series True Blood is based on and yes,  I must confess, even the Twilight saga and the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy.   

What can I say?  I love reading and I love writing.  So this community is perfect for me.
