The day before yesterday, April 22, 2019, Philippines experienced an earthquake with the epicenter at Zambales, Luzon. Zambales is a region close yet far from our region, Nueva Ecija.
We experienced a magnitude 3 earthquake. I was just sitting while turning on my laptop when I felt vibrations, fast ones, followed by steady shakes.
I thought I was just imagining things but when I looked at my stand fan, it was shaking too. I went outside and told my grandparents that we’re experiencing an earthquake.
It lasted for less than 45 seconds thankfully. Though, it was my first time. Call me messed up but I kind of felt giddy because I now know what it really feels like, but serious damages resulted in surrounding regions.
Three more earthquakes shook the ground. One being at Visayas and two at Mindanao.
Seriously, were tectonic plates having a party right now?
I’ll just shake it off.
Pun.
Anyways, let's just hope that there will be no more and no casualties. Every people’s lives have values.
