Dude, you're a writer. Are you still posting? Are you pursuing it outside of WP? I hope so. I'd like to see how you structure The Average One going forward. Also, what is it about Greyson that Amanda was into? Why does his brother stick up for him? Loyalty, or because there's some appealing about Greyson the audience doesn't know? So far he's derided everything about himself - even his intelligence. Is his journey that he gets self esteem or can you give the audience a taste of the great guy under all the defeated chat? Seriously though, the precision of your vocab is awesome - add a story structure and make something about your character that makes me want to root for him and you'll definitely have me at least (and I reckon others) tuning in. My writing woe is plenty of story but limited by my ability to get the words 'right.' You have the right words in evidence in one post! Gift. Kia kaha - stay strong.
