I really hope he's able to copy the Limitless and Six Eyes and Malevolent Shrine and The Ten Shadows. I think it would be kinda sad if he has a copy technique and can't copy them. But if you want to make it so he doesn't become super overpowered fast. You could make it so he can only copy Limitless and Six Eyes when he gets the mangekyou because the mangekyou is more powerful and harder to obtain. And I really hope he still gets the mangekyou abilities like the two mangekyou techniques and susanoo. And will he be able to evolve it into the rinnegan/rinnesharigan. Because I think that would be amazing and so cool if it could. But it's all up to you because this is your story. So just think about it and please update soon.
