Sorry for being gone for a quarter year I honed my music production and coding skills and I'm about to graduate Web Development in a few months! Currently trying my best to be independent too so I could stray away from my parents since our political roots are taking its toll. Thank you for those who missed me AHAHAHAHA the feeling is mutual :>
          	
          	Also, I might have found someone that could make me a better man, so the drive to be independent and self sufficient is stronger than ever (I've been hitting the gym too!).

I'm halfway through in Judging the Poetry Category of the Thorn Awards. Would continue after Christmas because I would be hella busy with Choir Obligations and Parties. We don't celebrate New Year because its just a man-made concept and we're too Asian to care, throw that sentiment off my window lol.
          
          Once again, whenever I judge poetry, I read and score the work three times (for First Impression, Recognition, and Reflection) under these criteria:
          
          Concept- 20
          Articulation- 20
          Literary Device- 20
          Imagery- 20
          Entropy- 20
          
          Then, after the three scores attained, I would get the average to serve as the FINAL SCORE.
          
          I believe in quality over quantity so please allow me to take my time in judging, thank you for writing poetry!

Thanks to @Olivia_Benedetti I decided to research more about a certain man. And after four days, I finished analyzing Andrew Tate's perception and realized how my Father's worldview is the same as his', almost up to 95%. If his speeches were put from Speech-to-Text I'd assume it would be from my Father haha. I ended up agreeing and disagreeing with him but I swear his content will be easily misunderstood and be a detriment to the male youth since Tiktok doesn't show full context and caters to short formats, exacerbated by semantics and wordings. He ought to reform if he plans to reform others but I understand his intention. I'm not his apologist, I am merely tolerating and prospecting to a reasonable extent. All I can say is his brand is not a loud, empty can but is a full milk sometimes served to the lactose intolerant. Other helpless babies crawling in society need it but not everyone does.

@Zelenesenki you’re brave to confront your dad on it. The only time I disagreed with my dad about it was when he was talking about the foot binding in Chinese women and how it was an honour. I shut him up with « what a honour to fit into the ideal of men » but my dad is very open minded. He didn’t say anything then but I think it sunk into his mind because he has a daughter after all. It’s a learning for them as for us, maybe harder for them.

@AnnamitaMuscaria 100% agree if you only knew the frequency of my hour debates with my father hahaha thankfully he's keeping an open mind and slowly questioning all things rooted in patriarchy as well. Makes me want to meet this Andrew Guy too since I see my Dad in him lol

It is hard to realise things like this, especially to question your own belief and the ideologies of your parents. No one is perfect, there are no perfect person but I think the minimum one ask is to be loved, respected and to live. That’s the basics to me.

I made a report to Wattpad Support on how my book "Tropical Depression" peaked at number 2 among 316k under the tag of #poetry last November 6 (published October 30, 2022). Then comes November 7, the tag was gone and not functioning (it refuses to rank while the other tags continued to rank higher) I had a full detailed report and they encouraged me to ask other users who experienced the same bug so they could report to them as well. It's a bummer really since I felt robbed of that exposure, luckily Kaarina (The one who reached out to me from Wattpad) truly cares about this inconvenience.
          
          So if you experienced the same bug as I did, please report it to Wattpad Support. I swear after I graduate from Web Development next year's April I'll fix this back-end programming bug myself.

@Zelenesenki ohh I mean i experienced the same thing, but couldn't find the cause but to know that it's probably got something to do with number of readers. my bad i guess lol. it must've been a glitch after all. anyways though, I'm glad your ranking is back!! you've made it to the top 100 omg

@TessaYoung5 though the fact that all remaining tags ranked higher after the disappearance suggests a better engagement than when it was #2. It seems impossible that only a few select tags would drop rock bottom overnight when all the tags used are at the same scope/field. Adrielle also experienced the same thing so I figured it has something to do with the read counts since it's just a fresh book. Tbh it made me want to publish at Amazon instead, but I already made friends (you guys) here so I didn't.

@Zelenesenki i think it mainly has to do with reader engagement. the more reads, votes and comments your story has in a day or multiple days, decides where the story will rank. as soon as the reading frequency decreases, so does the ranking, and any other book, having more readers would replace yours. it's a pretty sucky criteria since it's just based on the amount of reader interaction, and less on the story quality. :/
