Tomorrow is Still In Love's birthday. Well, in Japan it already IS her birthday. Maybe I'll do some writing in honor of it.

God... Destiny twitter is just depressing.

You have people attacking the DMG, who can only really talk about the game once he himself is allowed to release the information. And then you have other people attack Brian Villalobos (Lodi's VA) just for saying it sucks that people are attacking DMG personally...

I get that the silence is absurd... but this behavior is just unacceptable.

At this point. I almost want to start wanting Destiny to actually die. Just so that these jerks get nothing. It may be petty... but that's what those people deserve.

The devs of this game have proved time and time again that they want to have nothing but success for this game that they love. Sometimes, that doesn't happen (Lightfall), but they're able to bounce back. It's happened multiple times.

At the end of the day, it's the higherups that make these decisions. They're the ones at fault.

The thing that's making me want to carve writing time into my schedule is seeing the insane amount of AI written stuff on this platform.

AI, or at least ChatGPT, has a very distinct style of how it likes to write. There's the usage of the Em dash (—). It uses it A LOT.

Another thing that AI does is also something it uses frequently. I don't know exactly what to call it. It's kind of a "format" of sorts? More so a tell tale sign. Anyway, it kinda looks like this.

"Jamie stood on the bleachers, Watching over the game. He noticed something about one of the players. They were different.

          Not better. Not smarter.

          But more."

You'll see this type of format all the time in a AI written "Story".

I hope that one day, the people who publish the story end up writing it themselves. I know they can, they just have to try. And who actually cares if it's bad? We all have to start somewhere. But using AI as a starting point will never get a person anywhere...

Anyway, just wanted to rant a bit. Maybe this way, I'll get so angry that I'll finally update my Destiny story.

@_Bonavox_ Some times I fear that in the future people will use more A.I than to Write, Draw, Make videos for something and forget to how to do those things without A.I, it's scary sometimes when I think that.

@Badfrog17 Even in those situations, I can't tell if that's someone poking fun at themselves or being serious. It's so disheartening.

@_Bonavox_ I never realized that, but there was this story and the out of character the author said "Sorry my A.I died" and I was like "Wtf?"

Post launch thoughts:

Good step in the right direction. Gameplay was fun, story was fantastic, voice acting MY GOD. Dredgen Bael is one of my new favorite characters (Aleks Le did so good).

The activities seem to have good replay value too. And the weapons... GOD THE WEAPONS ARE SO GOOD. Praxic Blade (Lightsaber) Is legit one of my favorite weapons ever. I'm not even kidding when I say I REMOVED ACE OF SPADES off of Rick.

Of course, we'll still have to see how they continue things forward. I really hope they don't mess things up anymore...

Oh, and did I mention that Dredgen Bael is so fucking cool?
