here are some grammar tips
you're = you are
your = belonging to or associated to

there = "over there" or "there is" 
their = belonging to "it's theirs" 
they're = they are

its = belonging to
it's = it is or it has

than = comparing
then = this happened after this happened 

less = uncountable items "i spent less money this month"
fewer = countable items  "there are fewer cookies than there were before"

affect = something is happening to this
effect = the result of something that happened to this
(you could also just use the word impact)

me = something is affecting you and another "the police arrested sarah and me"
I = you are participating in the activity "sarah and i went to the store"
(just take the other person out of the sentence if you aren't sure. "me went to the store" doesn't make sense)
 
comma rules:

1. use a comma before conjunctions that connect two complete ideas (and, but, yet, etc.) 

2. use a comma after an introductory phrase. "disappointed, i fled the country"

3. use a comma to separate items in a list

4.  use commas to separate clauses that don't add meaning to the sentence. "olivia, the girl that killed my family, wants help in robbing a bank"

5. use a comma for direct address "you, Bob, are an idiot"

6. use a comma to set up a quotation "jack said, "WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE""

7. use commas for dates, addresses, and numbers. 
"20,000", "july 11, 2016", "Seattle, Washington"
