when he dies, she almost refuses to leave his body, crying so hard she could barely stand. she apologizes, and survives the ending battle, living with yushiro, and every single day going though her apology to him, until the day she dies, when she sees him waiting for her on the other side, and he forgives her. her relationship with sanemi was conflicted, as he saw her as a younger version of Kanae(the sanemi and kanae ship lives in this book) and didn't want her to continue life as a demon slayer, to die like her eldest sister. at the end, when she is healing in the butterfly mansion as the new owner, she makes a broken, but snarky remark that she's still alive. sanemi rebukes her, and she lashes out, claiming that she would rather be dead, because everything was taken from her. sanemi rebukes her for being selfish, simlar to what sabito did to giyuu, who is also there, and joins in telling reader the exact same words that sabito said to him. she bursts into tears, and they act like her older brothers. as she is literally a 14 year old child, she basically becomes adpoted by them, and the rest of the debanded, but alive demonslayer corps. when everyone in the mansion hears her crying, they all join in a big group hugs, with her in the middle. she renews her tears and thanks them, calling them her family. the books ends in her letters to other people in the demonslayer corps, departed and not. (muichiro's is the last one. she sends one to each of the hashira, one to ubuyashiki's remaining children.)

          NEW YEAR: NEW BOOK: HERES THE PLOT SO FAR: 
          eader is 3rd actual butterfly sister, who was with shinobu when kanae died. she was with them all the time, until muichiro came to be healed at the butterfly mansion. she went off with him when he recovered, and taught him the 6 og forms of mist breathing, and was there when he finished making the 7th form. reader wasn't rlly skilled enough to be a hashira, but was enough to be a kinoe. she becomes muichiro's "tsuguko" and they basically do all their missions together. she's like shinobu, with a short temper, but a good poker face, and also has infinite patience when it comes to muichiro. she and ginko have a love hate relationship, while they both admire each other and muichiro. the only mission reader didn't accompany muichiro on was the swordsmith village one. when muichiro comes back from the village and instead of greeting reader like normal, hugs her, she burst into surprised and happy tears. she's there when he dies, and uses that to fuel the fight against kokushibo. like yushiro, reader had a hair thing(prob a tie or clasp) that muichiro either gave her, or used during practice, that reader kept as a reminder of him. yushiro and reader become good friends, and since reader is a orphan, with only sisters, tamayo becomes her "mom". at the start, reader wasn't nessaserily in the hashira meeting when tanjiro gets a trial, but she went to visit him at the butterfly mansion after muichiro told her about him. After muichiro regains his memories, he and reader stregthen their friendship, and she helps him train the demonslayers during hashira trainning. the day before muzan attacks, muichiro tells her that he likes her, and she was sacred be she wasn't sure if he was joking or not, so she tells him that she'll "figure out her feelings" even though she knows in her heart that she loves him. she taunts fate by saying "we have forever, and no matter our decisons, we'll be together forever".

          Its unfinished, but really good. Lots of angst and second hand embarrassment but thats a sign of good writing.
