          So you know how I said to expect the first chapter of the rewrite of The Haunted Door soon? Well it's not going to be soon. I've been doing a lot of things other than writing, and I don't really have time.
          I don't know when the first chapter will be published but I do know that it'll be in early 2025-ish.

Hi guys!!
          
          I have decided that I will be rewriting my book, "The Haunted Door"
          I wanted to do this because I recently realised that the main character, Amelia, had barely any character plot and I feel like with the way the story rolled out, it seems like I killed off a character for no reason. And I swear, there is a reason but I was such a bad writer two years ago and I didn't make it clear. I will be fixing that problem in the rewrite (I hope). 
          (I will add a little note, the character's death was supposed to be a mystery. It's not supposed to be clear how or why they die until the sequel that I will be writing after this rewrite.)
          I wrote this book when I was 11 in the span of around a month or two. I feel like since then I've grown as a writer and I know I can write something better.
          This will be quite a bit longer than the original which was only 7 chapters and each chapter were kind of short. This book will have more and longer chapters.
          
          Anyways, thank you guys for reading this. There will be a new chapter of the rewrite around every two weeks or so.
