evangeline sighed a little pressing a hand to her temple , to her it really didn’t seem like a big deal. she just wanted to blow off a little steam and get back what rightfully belonged to her. she didn’t like being taken for a fool and that was exactly what that man had done. “ you know what ok , fine you’re right. i’ll deal with this tomorrow ” she said , it was clear she didn’t want to but she was making a compromise. “ but it’s not like i do this all the time , it’s a couple of times at most but i get it , i apologise ok ? it won’t happen again ” she said simply , slipping the usb back into her purse and tucking it away for the night. “ it doesn’t matter , let’s go get dinner. you wanted to try that new place right ? ”

“ that one wasn’t my fault , they all look /very/ similar ” she muttered as she fixed a few strands of his hair. they didn’t look alike at all , she just had the tendency to forget people she didn’t deem relevant. “ I know you can have someone take care of it but I like doing this , this is the last time ok ? just hang in there ” she said leaning in pressing a kiss to his cheek as if to placate him. “ remember when you went on that business trip last week and i didn’t complain ? you owe me one ” she said her tone somewhat apologetic but it was clear she was going through it. the man had stolen from her and she planned to get it back .. plus interest.
