          Also, in case anyone missed it I decided to republish my short story, I Didn't Think I'd See You Again--which was up only briefly years ago. I figured I couldn't leave you guys with nothing on here! So please give it a read and show it some love <3

After years away from Wattpad, which was once such an important community to me, I've decided to go back to writing. You may notice I've unpublished my books on here, and that's because I'm revising and rewriting The Guide to Lying in the hopes of getting it in good enough shape to query for traditional publishing. I know that means it's no longer available to read on here, and that makes me sad, but maybe one day you'll see it again! Hopefully in paperback! I'm also working on a brand new, standalone mystery-romance hybrid . . .

I just finished The Guide to Lying and absolutely adored it! I'm a big fan of both murder mysteries and romance, so this killed it for me.
          Karma was unlike any character I've come across so far and I loved that she was confident in her sexuality and not letting anyone shame her for it.
          Thank you so much for this book that may well be the best one I've read on Wattpad so far! I aspire to be as good of a writer of strong characters as you.

Hello friends, followers, and readers:
          
          I know I've been absentee for a while. I started graduate school a few years ago and it's taken a lot of my mental energy. I used to read and write for fun, but now that I do it for school and work it's hard to do it for pleasure; all I seem to want to do is curl up in front of the television to unwind. Some day, though, I'd like to finish More Than Meets the Eye. Thankfully, I have all the time in the world--my whole life, really. 
          
          For those of you who don't know, I wrote Ace of Hearts in high school (and it's about high school students), The Guide to Lying in College (and it's about college students), and I started More Than Meets the Eye just after I finished college (it's about late twenty-somethings--so I guess I really do have more time).
          
          Recently, I've been reflecting on my work and considering taking down Ace of Hearts. I'm so happy with the reception it's received on Wattpad, and Ace Anderson will always be near and dear to my heart, but I'm just not happy with the quality or the plot anymore. I'm older, wiser, and hopefully a better writer, and it's hard be satisfied with it. I haven't made a decision yet, and it definitely breaks of bit of continuity for the way my three books intertwine, but I might do it. I just want to look at my profile and be proud, you know? Perhaps even to share it with friends one day. We'll see--that's a big perhaps. Right now, no one knows I'm on here. Addison is a pen name, in case that wasn't obvious. Though it's been so long, she's really become a part of me.
          
          Would love any thoughts y'all have.

Omg. I remember Ace of Hearts back when it only had a couple thousand reads, just starting out. Congratulations! ♡♡ I'm so proud of you (even if you probably don't remember me, haha)!
