I wrote the first chapter for my new book... I'd like some input so that I know whether or not I should write more or just delete it. Will somebody read it and let me know what you think?

@Ryleerk101 Cool! I have an uncle who lives in India, he got married there. I love languages!! The artist to my favorite webcomic drew a beautiful language tree, her name is Minna Sundberg, it shows what languages are related and their base language(s). She made it specifically for the comic, but lots of people use it for other things. :D
Sorry, I almost went all fangirl about that comic! XD

@Ryleerk101 I've never really thought about going there... And I don't know if I'd have the patience to learn Japanese! But I do think the culture is really interesting and, from what I've heard, Japan is really pretty. I have a friend in my Sunday school class that moved there, but I don't have any way to ask him what it's like because I didn't think to get his contact information. I've never been out of the country, but I've always wanted to go to Scotland; I have no idea why. I think I'd much rather learn about the roots of English words than learn another language, but I have been wanting to learn Arabic. My dad's girlfriend is from out of the country and her first language is Arabic, although I've never actually met her.

@aeve1067 XD I want to go to Japan, just to go there! I really don't know anything know anything about it, people have tried taking videos of it, but so far, nothing good enough to be watchable. Besides, I think it would be much better to see it in person, the only problem, it hasn't been English dubbed. D: So you would have to learn Japanese.
There are lots of other exclusive shorts too, that are unavailable to everyone but the extreme Ghibli enthusiast.
I do know a lot about Ghibli. I did a research project on it a few years ago for the Iowa Technology Fair (Tech Fair) and got a blue ribbon. But I am most happy about the fact that I learned so much about the studio and the culture, art, and ideas behind their movies. It is a very interesting subject to me. :3
