I headcannon that america used to be not fat just over weight bec of the food, and he was lowk trolled by people about it when they got angry at him like "at least I'm not a fatass with a fragile ego" allat and he fixed his body in the cold war too!! Not buff but slim with some abbs visible :) (They still annoy him abt it bec he still eats burgers in every meeting...)
