Pride Month starts on Monday, and I just want to wish everyone a happy month in advance!
We've come a long way in equality, not only for the LGBTQIA+ community, but also for so many other things.
I want to vent a little on the subject, however.
Firstly, please do everything you can to protect #transrights ! You are not part of the community if you cannot accept every part of it. Same goes for Bisexual people. They're not more likely to cheat just because of their dating spectrum. Also, who the hell is like "bi people are gonna cheat bc they have a lot of options but pan people are totally fine" (not to hate on the pans, just saying). Jeezus, calm down. No matter the sexual identity, loyalty exists, people.
Secondly, stop dissing on black members of our community! That throws off our entire game. We want equality for *everyone*. #BlackLivesMatter
Look out for all of our friends in this amazing community, because every one of them counts.
Lastly, homophobia. It's hard to deal with, but we're all very strong. A lot of parents are accepting of a lifestyle in this community, but sadly, many aren't. If this is a problem for you, just know that there are so many people out there who feel for you and who are there for you. Including me.
And as someone who cares about your safety and health, I advise you to read this and take as many precautions as possible. It was a problem last year, too:

Pride won't be canceled as long as we acknowledge our friends, family, and even strangers with whom we share this amazing community with.
Please stay safe and stay home. I'm lucky to live in a state that's dealing with Covid-19 incredibly well, but I can't say that for everyone. As much as you may want to go to a parade or something, just stay safe. #WAIIT
