I decided I'll just put my story on hold. I'll continue writing it if things get a little less messy on my part.

Gonna post the next chapter this Sunday. It's undergoing edits lol. Here's a sneak peek while you guys wait.
          
          "It's all my fault," he said in between his sniffles. "All these things happened because of me," he added. Calvin could only do as much as rub the boy's back as he let out the words. One thing he long learned was for people to open up to you, you must make them feel comfortable. This was something he had done with the prince before.
          
          "But, father... he was so happy." Henry gripped his father's tunic tightly. "If only you could see the joy in his face... when he was playing in that river. He was laughing, father." He took in a shaky breath as he uttered that last sentence. "I'm sure it's nothing you've ever seen him do... I wondered... what could possibly a child be suffering from for him to be at awe at the mere sight of a river? How sad could he possibly be for him to laugh and play as though there was no tomorrow? It was a sight to behold, father. The prince looked so happy."
