The joke with my family and friends is that I love horror movies or Disney Princess movies. There's no in between. And my favorite part about Disney Princess movies is the development of the main character as she tries to figure out who she is and where she belongs. Oh, and also the romance. Because who doesn't have a crush on a Disney prince, right? Looking at you, Eugene.

I've never been good at writing horror. I love watching it, but I've never been able to put myself in a dark enough space to write about horrific things. But I've always been a hopeless romantic. So that's what I write. Stories about young women who are looking to find out who they are and where they belong, while also finding love along the way. And I always put a little piece of myself in every one of my main characters.
But what author doesn't, right?
