Just posted a new chapter of Crossing the Line! I know it's been a minute. I had serious writer's block after the wedding and had to go back and fix a few things. But I'm feeling much better about this story, and I hope you enjoy this new chapter!

I'm MARRIED!
          
          After almost a decade of being together, my partner Angus and I finally got hitched! It was a beautiful ceremony on family property with our families and closest friends. And boy did we have fun! Then, after weeks of stressing and planning, we hopped on a plane to Hawaii for our honeymoon. It was an incredible week, but I am so happy to be back home with our daughter, our dog, and our cat.
          
          Now for a brief writing announcement: I am going to pause on Crossing the Line for a little bit. I took a wrong turn somewhere, and I really want to fix it before I continue posting new chapters. However, now that I am no longer planning the biggest event of my life, I will have more time to figure out what went wrong. I hope to be back soon.
          
          As for reading... I have every intention of catching up with my stories here very soon. In fact, I'm looking forward to it. I've missed all my friends so much!

After what feels like forever, I finally finished A Taste of Cinnamon: Vale's Story! The epilogue has just been posted. It feels so weird saying goodbye to these characters. I'll miss them. But it's time to focus solely on Ian and Anna now. I'll be back soon with a Behind the Scenes. Stay safe and healthy until then, my dears!

Hey friends! Wanted to pop in here and let you all know that, if I'm reading your story and it's been a while since I've left comments, I apologize. I'm getting married in September, and I've been busy planning a wedding. Plus, I've challenged myself to write one thousand words a day this year, and I haven't missed a day yet. So that's taking up a lot of time as well. And finally, I'm having some issues with my left leg that's now forced me to use crutches to walk. So I've had a lot on my plate. But please know that I have given up on NO ONE'S stories. I'll be back as soon as I can, because I love all my friends here and I can't wait to read their incredible writing. I'm just not reading much at all at the moment I'm afraid. But I will soon.

Hello, Goodbye was just added to the Ambassador Picks list for Contemporary Lit! What an honor! Thank you so much, and congratulations to every else who made the list as well!

Today, Coeur d'Alene lost two outstanding firefighters due to a horrible act of evil. For those of you who don't know, most of my books take place in Coeur d'Alene. It is my hometown, and I have a lot of love for this small community. So when something like this happens, we all feel it. I cried for those lost tonight and the nightmare their families must be going through. And there's still a fire on the mountain, so the nightmare is far from over. So I ask that you please, please keep our community in your thoughts as we mourn the loss of two of our own while their brothers continue the fight.

I don't usually post stuff like this, but please send a positive thought to Coeur d'Alene, ID right now. This is where most of my books take place. It's my hometown, and the firefighters and law enforcement officers up here were ambushed on one of the local mountains when responding to a brush fire. Please keep this beautiful place in your thoughts and/or prayers.

I am switching things up a little bit. Decided that I'm going to start posting chapters of Crossing the Line now and share Just Because this winter. It makes more sense seeing as Just Because takes place during Christmas Time, so I'll actually have a Christmas themed story during the holidays. AND I'm really focused on Ian and Anna. So tonight you'll have the first chapter of Crossing the Line. It'll be a very early draft (I'm writing the first draft right now), so I hope it turns out okay. Can't wait to share with you!

I have four chapters written of CROSSING THE LINE. Not sure if I should post them or not, as I'm still working on finishing Vale's story and I'm just starting Wren's. What do you all think? Should I put Wren on hold for a bit longer to post about Ian and Anna, or should I wait until winter like I originally intended? Let me know in the comments, because I'm totally lost.
