summoning me is a weird power move, winchester. what do you want?

angelichunts

@wiccaanways ( … ) it’s not a power move, langdon. it’s a ‘I-don’t-have-your-number-and-any-way-of-contacting-you’ move. [ the nephilim corrected, biting on the inside of her cheek as her arms folded over her chest. she paused for a moment, before she gestured with a sharp nod of her head towards the papers and photographs neatly stacked in different piles over on her table. ] I needed to show you something. and I need to know whether you recognise any of these runes.

@eadimidium ( … ) [ a low groan slipped out of callie, swallowed by the curtain of hair that had fallen over her face. she burrowed deeper into the pillow, doing everything in her power to pretend the morning didn’t exist. early hours were never her strong suit, and today felt even worse than usual, given the hangover. the bright burst of daylight that julia unleashed by yanking the curtains open hit her like a shockwave, sharp and unwelcome. the nephilim squeezed her eyes shut, wishing the room would stop feeling so loud and so bright. she lifted a hand just enough to gesture weakly in julia’s direction. ] five more minutes.

Tall trees, black woods. The night stretched on and on, a sanctuary and hell embodied. It was cruel safety what it offered, a place to hide but a place to be found as well. The rhythmic croak of birds matched the pace of his feet striking the ground as he crossed through it, searching, looking, each bark of a tree a temptation to sink behind, yet nothing seemed safe /enough/. Smoke came out of his mouth in huffs, attempting to slow down his nervous system only worsened the state for his body. He was getting cold in a kingdom of ice, with a spear of God aimed right at him - somewhere behind, but not far away.

angelichunts

@FANGEDFXCK ( … ) [ angel blade in hand, the nephilim kept her sharp gaze focused entirely on the vampire. finding him hadn’t been difficult — tracking creatures like him was what she did. power hummed beneath her skin, that innate sense that tugged her toward anything supernatural, and tonight it had led her straight to him. her scowl deepened as he widened the distance between them. fine. if he wanted to run, she had other ways to bring him down. with a smooth, practiced motion, callie slid the blade back into the sheath at her hip and reached for the compact crossbow strapped across her back. the string was already drawn; all she had to do was notch the arrow. she lifted the weapon, breath steadying as she tracked the vampire’s movements. he was fast — faster than most she’d hunted — but not fast enough to escape her sight. she exhaled, letting instinct take over. then she fired. ]

@wiccaanways ( … ) huh. well — if that’s what I’ve supposedly been doing, then I’m clearly doing a pretty lousy job of it. [ the winchester huntress muttered the words under her breath, already recognising that voice the moment it cut through the quiet night. she shut her car door with a dull thud, pulse still settling from the way he’d materialised out of absolutely nowhere in the middle of the road. instinct had taken over; her foot had slammed the brake before her brain caught up. ] blinking into existence in front of my car was / fucking stupid /, by the way. [ callie added, folding her arms over her chest as her eyes narrowed. ] I haven’t been avoiding you. I just haven’t actively sought you out. there’s a difference. if you wanted to talk, you could’ve tried something a little less dramatic than playing supernatural roadkill.

[ the nephilim let out a breathy chuckle, the corners of her mouth curling up in genuine amusement. her eyes wandered across the wall. it was… nice, seeing the beaming smiles of his family, his pack. it was times like this that she wished she had grown up with sam and dean because although she’d go to hell and back for them ( and vice versa ), she never had the same bond as they did with one other. ] hell, if I could get a perfume that deterred my supernatural essence, I would. [ she mused, hissing through clenched teeth as he lowered her carefully onto the edge of the bed. ] cas is trying to find a way to at least dull it. apparently, nephilims are practically extinct, so my luck is about zero to none.

[ no one knew its real name. hunters named it after what it left behind. it looked human until it was too late. it’s voice didn’t travel through air—- it slid straight into the mind, soft and intimate, shaped from memories. it borrowed tones from people you trusted; lovers, family, old friends, the dead—- it could sound like regret, forgiveness, and safety all at once. it didn’t chase, it c͟o͟n͟v͟i͟n͟c͟e͟d͟. it fed on hesitation and on the instinct to turn back when someone sounded afraid.
once close enough, it didn’t rip you apart—- it o͟p̲e͟n͟e͟d͟ you. a thin, invisible blade of bone slipped between ribs, painless at first—- surgical. victims were often found standing upright, eyes open, faces calm, as if they’d simply stopped mid-thought. inside, everything was rearranged. not removed.
that was why julia and suki were staying behind with sammy—- warding charms, sigils, iron lines drawn in salt and ash. suki’s spirit watching the perimeter. julia pacing like a loaded weapon, sarcasm barely covering the fact she’d already memorized every escape route. they were safe there.
ben felt her words land like a pressure against a bruise. he looks away at first, not because he’s feeling guilt, but because if he held her gaze any longer, she’d see it. she would see the calculation and subtle fear he attempted to hide. his jaw flexed once. ] this isn’t about capability, callie. [ he turns back to her, eyes darker now, stripped of the usual distance. there’s something raw in them he didn’t bother to hide. ] this thing doesn’t care about how skilled you are or how brave you pretend to be.
