NO. Love is not enough, and don't let anybody convince you otherwise. There are always very raw, uncaring realities that exist, and we ignore them at our own peril.


If love were enough, distance would never matter.

If love were enough, families that hate each other would never matter.

If love were enough, sexual incompatibility would never matter.

If love were enough, money would never matter.

If love were enough, cultural differences would never matter.

But the fact is, as we all know, these things do matter. They matter very much. You can love somebody with all your heart, and they can feel the same about you, but sometimes it's just not enough. Life gets in the way, and love is often powerless to stop it.


Just because you have loved someone, and that love wasn't enough, doesn't mean that you can't love again. Never forget that.
