so uh, a couple of people have asked me what happened to Spies, which is a Coldplay fanfic I had on here like, one or two years ago. At the time I finished it, I wasn’t happy with it and already had plans to rewrite it, which uh .... didn’t go so well. 
          
          I became too obsessed with rewriting it, with adding new subplots and fixing details, agonising over what I should change and keep, and just never being happy with it at all. For months I was rewriting the same first chapter over and over again and it was so bad that I never got past rewriting even three chapters because of how unsatisifed I was and how I kept changing everything. 
          
          Eventually, this all led to a whole writer’s block and creative block for me, which still exists today. I’ve decided to not work on the project for now. It’s the reason I can barely find any inspiration or write anything nowadays, and it’s best that I stay away from it as I try to find my way back into writing. Maybe I’ll return to it in the future, but that won’t likely happen.
          
          Sooo yeah. That’s it. I’m sorry for disappointing you guys. If any of you were previous readers and still want to read the story, DM me and I’ll give you the document of the first draft I had. Thanks for sticking with me and supporting me this far, you’re all awesome xx
