Just a notice. In preparation for the events of book three, I needed to make changes in both of the previous books, and people may have already read the chapters and get confused by some of the things. 
          
          One characteristic I added is for Damon, he’ll use French phrases here and there, mostly in moments of high emotion like frustration or anger, and then more during intimate moments with Alaina. French is secondary to English, but it was a language he primarily used as a child, so it slips out or just feels right for some moments. 
          
          Another addition is that Cordelia has a sort of “sixth sense”. All the characters have their own quirks, Damon’s gift is bigger than the rest of theirs, so we’ve mainly only been exposed to his. But Cordie has scenes where she mentions having a “feeling”, good or bad, so just a premonitory sort of feeling, she doesn’t exactly know why, and her feelings usually tend to be solid warnings to check on something.
          
          Otherwise, all the changes I’ve made have been minor or are among the chapters I haven’t posted yet. As said before, things are on schedule, I’ll post one more chapter Friday and then it’ll be two chapters a week (Wed/Fri) until the book ends. So tune in for the end, but not really the end, because I still have a book three to write.

Currently writing the last chapter, so I think it's safe to announce that I will be reverting to a consistent posting schedule for the last like ~20 chapters. I'll post one more chapter on Friday of next week, and then I'll start posting two per week (Wed/Fri), so stay tuned. I might post them and do minor edits later, but I'm trying to move forward and not stay on the other chapters since they're done for the most part.

Monthly update. Still writing and adjusting things, progress is being made. I have two more chapters to write, vital chapters to wrap up the book and get into the thick of the supernatural content, then I’ll just have finalizing the last bulk of chapters. So hopefully by the next month, I should be able to just post two chapters a week. It’s looking like 52 chapters for the end count but that is subject to change. It’s all coming together so stay tuned. But the monthly chapter will be posted next Friday as scheduled.

Yet another update. Added yet another chapter and shifted some things around, final count will still be 50 chapters. I'm now fourteen chapters ahead, which is more than double what I had last month, so progress is definitely being made. I don't wanna make any promises just yet, but ideally, I'm hoping to switch to a weekly or twice-a-week update schedule next month, but that all depends on if I can wrap up these last couple of chapters. So the end is coming gang, just a little longer.

Working on finishing up book two as soon as I can, I'm like six chapters ahead, but I'm holding off posting faster until I have it all done. The reason being that I write chapters and then they end up being too long, so I have to split them into two. That's already happen three times and I'm sure it'll happen at least one more.
          
          There is just so much that happens at the end of the book, it expands beyond just school drama to things that happen in the town. Like this is the moment that all the hints and mysterious things have been leading up to, everything shifts from typical fiction to the paranormal side. And the Madame officially joins the supporting cast with her appearances and involvement. Everything needs to play out just right, especially because there's a big twist that happens right into book three that relies heavily on how the final chapters are.
          
          Anyways, working on making up for the slow updates soon with quicker updates to wrap up the book, so bear with me gang, we're in the home stretch.

Book two cover has also been updated. Book one is like semi-bright with the fall colors, new school and high hopes, and the V4 are in the background since they become more prominent as a group for Alaina later on. And then book two is darker and edgy, Alaina and the V4 are all in the foreground. Might make minor adjustments to it later but this is definitely the vision I had for it. Don’t know about book three yet cover wise, just pitch black, I guess lol, if we’re following the theme and keeping it in line with the story, because it dives right into the supernatural and gets tragic pretty fast.

New cover for Against All Odds! Much more fitting for how I see Alaina and the V4, and then there's a little more atmospheric energy, too, to match the vibe. Will likely update the cover for book two, as well.
          
          I'm not just working on aesthetic stuff, I promise, I'm actively working on the end of book two. I have four chapters ready to go, just writing the final ~10 chapters so that I can have them scheduled to post twice a month (ideally). Thank you for your support and patience!

New chapter being posted today! 
          
          You will see two additional chapters towards the beginning of the book, it’s not new content, just older chapters I broke into two because they sounded better spaced out. Did add minor content to them and tweak them, but mostly still true to the original.
          
          I’ve plotted out the rest of the book in terms of scenes, so it should be 15+ chapters before the book ends, slightly shorter than book one. Might be slower to post them because there’s a lot that’s going to happened with the end, and I’m going to try to complete multiple chapters together so I can check if it’s flowing. The love triangle era is over and a genre change is just around the corner, this is where the preface book three comes in and changes everything.
