Hello, hello, hello my wonderful readers!!
          
          Wow has it been a long time since I have sent out a message to you all! I hope you all have been staying safe and healthy with all the craziness of this year that has been going on!
          
          I wanted to send a message to announce my return to Wattpad and to working on “Why Me?” once again after my EXTREMELY long hiatus. As some of you may have noticed I have published new editions of these chapters: “Prologue: The Boy With the White Hair” and “Chapter One: Strange Meeting - Part I.” These are the final edits that are being published and they are what I am working toward to not only get back into the story, but also to refresh myself on the plot and where I would like it to go as it comes to an end.
          
          On that note, as I work to publish these final edits, I will also be writing a new chapter as soon as they are done and from there, I will be working toward finishing the story completely! (Lord knows it’s been a long time coming ahaha)
          
          Thank you all for your continued support and love for this story! It means the world to me to know that my writing is bringing you all joy and that you are still enjoying this SoMa story!

          I'm just popping in to let you all know that the finalized revision of Chapter 3 (Now titled "Can't Win 'Em All"; before it was "The Tournament") has been completed and uploaded for you all to read!

Good almost-morning everyone!
          
          I hope you are all having a fantastic winter break so far!
          I also wanted to give you an update that the complete revision of "Chapter Two: A Strange Meeting - Part II" is done and published for you all! Yay!!
          I'm so excited! The progress is going really well with the chapters so far, and I am very pleased with their outcomes!
          
          Let me know how you feel about the change from a 1st person POV to a 2nd person POV. This is my first time really attempting to do so. I decided to change it to the 2nd person POV because the chapters switch from one being in Maka's POV to the next being in Soul's POV, and it seemed like an easier way to attribute both of their POVs without putting their names in the chapters that are seen through either of them. :)
          Also! Do you all like the lengths of the chapters? Let me know what you think!
          
          I am going to be in NYC until the 19th starting earlyyyyy tomorrow morning, so I will not be updating anything during that time, but don't worry! I will be back at it as soon as I get back for sure!

          Hello everyone!
          
          I wanted to update you all on the progress of the revisions so far! I have just revised over half of Chapter Two (it is published along with the parts that have not been revised yet; you are more than welcome to read it all while you wait for the finished revision of the chapter, or you can read up to the part that ends the revision --- the 2nd person POV ends abruptly where the revision currently ends so you will be able to tell which is which rather easily when you get to that point), and I will be finished with that chapter by tomorrow night at the latest!
          It has gotten veeeeeryyyy long haha so I apologize for that. Let me know if you think the chapters are too long or if you like that they are on the lengthier side and I will take your feedback into consideration when writing future chapters. Most likely in the form of splitting chapters I think are getting too long into two or more, and such other things like that.

P.S.:     Also, I have already gotten the Prologue and Chapter One out again, so please feel free to read them! Every chapter is still uploaded for you all to be able to read, just know that there will be some possible major changes taking place throughout the month. Hello, my lovely readers!
          
               That hiatus was hideous! Blah! But now that I'm back on winter break, not working, with no classwork from Uni, and just chillin' at home -- I'm going to be writing!! Yay! Apologies as my hiatus' are aggravating -- believe me, I feel you on that one, they are atrocious. But, with that said, I should be popping out chapters every other day or so ("or so" as in possibly one a day) for "Why Me?" All throughout December! I'm going to go through all of the old chapters first of course, and fix and edit and add to those to make the plot more solid and flow better, but I plan on writing an entirely new chapter by the end of the month if not sooner, as long as I stick to my update schedule which I have given a relative outline to above (^).
               I will be in NYC/VT from the 15th to the 19th so I'm not sure if I will be able to get anything out for you all during that time. But that just means I'll push out that many more chapters when I get back, so don't worry!
               Please continue to vote, comment, follow, and support "Why Me?" through this journey!
