I have been fond of writing poems and stories since the day in 2015 when a classmate let me read her poems for a guy. She wanted my opinion on her piece. After reading it, I immediately felt the power of words, especially when crafted with special verses or rhymes. I discovered that words can be written and interpreted beautifully and uniquely. Since then, I've written pieces from what my ink bleeds, capturing what I can't always express out loud. I'm grateful that, even now, I can be a voice for the countless tongue-tied, broken, loved, and unheard people in this sad, modern world.
